Summer/After School

Ages 5 - 12

7am - 6pm

Monday - Friday

Our summer program operates when Gaston County Schools are closed for summer break.

The summer program is closed July 4th. If this date occurs on Sat. or Sun., our center will close Monday.

We are closed Monday, Thursday, Friday of Thanksgiving week and the week of Christmas

Small Class Size

Our maximum number of children is 25, and we usually keep it between 15 - 20.

Activities

Two field trips weekly

Music instructor on Wednesday

Visits to the Stanley Total Living Center, including a music performance for the residents at the end of the summer.

Children's Church with our Youth Pastor on Wednesday.

Bible stories and devotional times

Ball fields, gym or playground daily.

Arts and crafts

Theme parties (50's party, Mexican fiesta, etc.)

Registration $50

$100 Weekly - Summer Program

Field trip fees are paid per trip and are only paid if your child attends.

Some of our trips are free and others are low in cost.

Tuition is due on Mondays.

$55 Weekly - After School Program

Our summer care children may continue attending our After School program without and addition registration fee.

The school bus brings the children here from Springfield and Kiser.

Eligibility

Children must have completed Kindergarten to be eligible for summer care.
