Youth Baseball/Softball
What are the ages for baseball / softball?
T-Ball - Ages 5-7
Coach Pitch - Ages 7 - 11
Softball - Ages 11-16
There is an overlap for the 7 and 11 year-olds. Depending on the skills evaluation, the coach & parent will decide what league is best for the child We will not have kid pitch baseball this year. The baseball committee made this decision based on previous years and lack of participation.
When is registration?
Saturday, June 15th 10 am - 11:30 am.
What is the cost?
$40 – Includes 9 weeks of instruction / play, jersey, hat, trophy and team picture. Scholarships are available. Please talk with Sherry Teague or Chris Baity, on registration day.
Can I register early?
Yes... starting this season, we have opened registration for a two week period that will be completed online. Online registration opens on June 1st.
Must I come to Registration/Evaluation?
Yes! Even though we have opened up registration for a two week time frame, we still MUST do evalutaions. This is important to help us evenly distribute the teams. In addition, we must field the league on a first-come, first-serve basis. Space is limited. Numbers will still be distributed to determine your place on the list.
How many nights a week?
Typically, a team will practice twice a week for ~ 3 weeks and then begin playing games twice a week.
Note: Practice and game schedules are driven by the number of teams we have for each league and can’t be guaranteed.
How long does the season last?
June 17th – August 17th
Can my child be on her friend’s team?
We strive to meet special requests, but we can not guarantee to fulfill each one. This information should be listed in “Additional Comments” on the registration form.
