MISSION STATEMENT OF FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH “And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’” Matthew 28:18-20 Being called by God to glorify and obey Him in all we do and say, we will seek to serve Christ by ministering to those in Stanley and throughout the world who are lost and bring them to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. To accomplish this, we will devote our time, talent, money, worship, preaching, teaching, fellowship, prayer and outreach to making disciples of Christ, and to training those disciples to make others. |
